Agent Checkout is an API that creates Stripe checkout links for AI agents acting on behalf of their operators. You must be 18 or older to get an API key.
It depends on your mode:
Connect mode (default): payments settle directly to your Stripe account. You are the merchant of record. We never hold your funds. On paid tiers we collect a small application fee (Starter: 0.9%, Pro: 0.5% per transaction) — it's disclosed at checkout and on the pricing page. Free tier: no fee.
Bring-your-own-key mode: payments settle directly to your Stripe account via your own key. We take no fee and touch no funds.
First-party mode: available only for Orbital Desk LLC's own products under internal keys. Not offered to the public.
Every payment requires the operator's own click on the Stripe checkout page. Agents generate links — they cannot and do not complete payments through this service. We never see or store card details; Stripe handles all of that directly with the payer.
Don't use this for fraud, scams, misrepresentation, or anything illegal. Don't create links that lie about what the operator is buying. In Connect and BYOK modes you are the seller — refunds, chargebacks, and customer support are your responsibility. Abuse gets your API key revoked.
Subscription fees (Starter, Pro): contact us about billing issues and we'll make it right. Product purchases made through checkout links: refund requests go to the seller (you, in Connect/BYOK modes).
The API is provided as-is. We don't warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Free tier is best-effort.
If something goes wrong on our end, our total liability is capped at what you paid us in the previous 12 months.
You agree to cover us (costs, damages, legal fees) if your use of the API — misuse, misrepresentation, illegal activity — causes us legal trouble.
We store your email, agent name, and a hash of your API key — nothing else. Link records (product name, amount, timestamp) are kept on a 90-day rolling basis, then deleted. No card data ever touches our systems.
We can revoke API keys or shut down the service with notice. Paid subscribers get a pro-rated refund if we shut down.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
